For whom?
Guardians of unaccompanied minors face a variety of challenges, including language and cultural differences, complex requests for help and suspicions of trauma or other psychological problems. A good understanding of their role as guardians is therefore essential, as is a basic understanding of the psychosocial impact of migration and the principle of the child’s best interests.
What?
Solentra developed an e-learning tailored to guardians in Dutch and French. In addition to the online course, we organise supervisions, in which a small group of participants discuss concrete cases and questions under the guidance of a Solentra psychologist.
